The Muse
The final card for the last week of my mother’s treatment. It’s fitting that the seventh chakra is just above the crown of the head. This represents the region of highest spiritual refinement. It is the doorway to what is just beyond our reach.
The influence of the Muse, or Sophia, is not found in the wisdom of the body or the mind or intellect. She whispers to us from the shadow realm; we experience her as a vision, a dream, and a shimmery veil that flutters between the worlds.
I think her message for me is one of “perspective”, remembering that our lives and relationships with one another are fleeting and temporary anyway.
So, Carpe Diem! (or Carpe Noctem! for my gothic friends!)
