The Goddess Dances are collection of contemporary exotic dance forms that are accessible to any woman who wants to learn how to move her body while cultivating confidence and sex appeal.
Brought to you by your hostess provocateur, The Mistress Lilith Samael, The Goddess Dances is a website devoted to a variety of movement forms and philosophies, but above all promotes the sense of uninhibited play and the celebration of the sexy side of dance.
From DVDs and online instruction, articles about women’s empowerment and creativity, links to my favorite costuming and accessories, the Goddess Dances wants you to move your body and move your life!
Explore some of the different forms of contemporary exotic dance that I think include:
- Fusion Style Belly Dance– Belly dance goes modern when you approach it from the ‘no rules’ perspective that I think truly honors it’s wildly varied history.
- Exotic/Erotic Dance – Good ol’ fashioned bump and grind covers floor-work to lap dancing! This is contemporary striptease – it’s a fun and sexy workout that can really help you to turn on your sass and your sex life!
- Burlesque – Old School to New School, there are lots of different and fun elements in burlesque performances.
- Pole Dance – Pole dance has moved out of the strip clubs and into living rooms all over the world. I can’t think of a more fun way to build serious strength and some serious hard-body action!
- Fire Dance – The Joy of Poi and dancing with fire is something I discovered at Burning Man. There’s non-fire poi too.
- Hoop Dance – Fun and Fitness For Grown Up Girls. There’s even fitness classes incorporating hoop.
These are just a few of the contemporary exotic dance forms that have caught my eye that I choose to call ‘Goddess Dances’.
This is by no means an exhaustive list…
So, what kind of dance are you doing?!
