Here’s a ten minute documentary video interviewing some of the most important dancer/choreographers in fusion belly dance today.
The video has been titled “What Is Tribal?”. Carolena Nericcio is of course a Grand Dame in tribal, but most of the others I really think of as fusion dancers.
There’s some great observations by some of my favorite artists and it’s worth a watch, even with the not so great audio quality.
