I just saw an ad on Craig’s List for pole dance lessons for $25 an hour listed in Denver. My friend from back in the club days occasionally runs Craig’s List ads for new students, in the Bay Area in California and I think she probably charges about the same.
I also have another friend who pays a pretty penny for group pole dance lessons at a studio.
I don’t dance full time anymore, but I still still get on a pole once in a while and there’s always some girl who asks how she can learn or if I teach. Honestly, it’ll take a long time and a fair amount of coin taking a one hour lesson here and there.
If you seriously want to learn to pole dance, my advice is to get a strip club job a couple nights a week. Pole dancing ability is not at all required. And if you’re too shy to take your clothes off, what the hell are you taking pole dance lessons for?!
Seriously, get into any crappy dive bar you can that has a pole. You’ll get paid $25 an hour while you learn all the pole you want…
Can’t beat that!
